A splendid magazine and a brave
enterprise. What I thank you for most is bringing so much of my own Peru closer. A
wonderful country needs a wonderful magazine. And you're doing it.
Richard Webb
De nada, compadrito.
Just looked through Rumbos Online -very well done. I guess your next step is to get
linked to lots of related sites: it seems that's the way most people find interesting
websites.
Concerning the editorial: I hadn't heard anything about your supposed demise, but that
sort of thing doesn't surprise me. I'm also pleased to see a little irreverent commentary
-it's important not only to show Peru's glories but also discuss the threats they are
facing.
Best regards,
Jim Bartle/photographer and editor
Our web page is a real success, but we still need your support to let us reach more and
more readers around the globe. As you 'll see in the next letter, not everyone agreed with
our editorial.
edición me pareció innecesariamente agresivo. Todo está muy bonito, pero ahórrense los
dardos, Basta de violencia gratuita, señores.
Renzo Miranda Rossi
I liked your editorial very much. Many Peruvians suffer from "polite"
hypocrisy, which is a form of stunted personality development. My uncle, a Peruvian
inventor, says that when it comes to money, everyone is a gangster. Yet, I do not think
Peruvians are any worse than other people. Good journalistic writing should be
thought-provoking though.

You are too polite. Sometimes it's necessary to tell it like it is. We agree 100% with
your last comment though.

As a traveler still struggling with spanish. I appreciate the english translations, as
well as the solid advice offered in the articles. Next time I will remember to bring sun
block for the Inca Trail! Keep up the good work. The magazine is gorgeous and a certain
inspiration to come back to Peru again and again.
